iGlobal Customer Paramount Freight Systems Wins National Award
(Ocala, Florida) – iGlobal, a leading provider of onboard computing and in-cab scanning systems for the transportation industry, is pleased to announce that its in-cab PC system, Journey MDT, has helped Paramount Freight Systems win first place in the ‘Best Fleet for Owner-Operators’ award given by the Truckload Carriers Association.
This award, announced in March 2011, was a result of being nominated by Paramount’s owner-operator drivers, who see the Journey MDT as an essential tool for their job. The iGlobal Journey MDT is a mobile in-cab computer and document management system that increases operating efficiencies, enhances employee job satisfaction, saves fuel, and improves communication between trucks and the office. In addition, payroll, freight invoicing, and paper workflow have been improved as a result of this system.
