iGlobal LLC Announces 34 Hour Restart Completion
iGlobal LLC a provider of world class fleet management and in-cab scanning solutions announced today that they have completed the updates to their ELOG application in order for their customers to maintain compliance with the recently amended 34 hour restart rule that went into effect in July of 2013.
“Following the December 16, 2014, announcement that President Barack Obama signed the FY 2015 Omnibus Appropriations bill passed by Congress that provides relief from the two new restrictions of the hour of service restart rule our developers began working on the updates within our system,” said Eric Bauer, President of iGlobal. “We are committed to providing the best service possible to our customers and this is yet another example of that commitment.”
“Now that the updates are completed and have passed our stringent testing procedures, we will work with our customers to schedule the remote, wireless updates of their Journey and Edge Mobil Data Terminals.”
“We’ve been a long time iGlobal customer and it’s reassuring to have a partner that is always working to make sure your fleet stays in compliance with the ever changing regulations,” said Willy Jennings, Director of Safety for Gateway Distribution. “The iGlobal team has done a great job in getting these updates completed in just a few weeks, with the Holidays included. Their efforts are very much appreciated!”
