(Ocala, Florida) – iGlobal, a leading provider of onboard computing and in-cab scanning systems for the transportation industry, is pleased to announce the appearance of long-time respected customer, Paramount Freight Systems, in Trucking Info, a heavy duty trucking magazine.  The article featured Trent Dye, Direct of Paramount Freight Systems, and his thoughts on how the company continually strives to go above and beyond for their drivers.

Paramount Freight Systems, headquartered in Jeffersonville, Ohio, was founded as the owner-operator arm of R+L Carriers. Dye, who has been with the company since the beginning, expects the coming year to be a monumental year for growth. One of the main attributes contributing to the continued growth of the company is their ability to treat their drivers with respect and give them the tools necessary to succeed.

One of the tools Paramount Freight Systems offers their drivers is iGlobal’s Mobile Data Terminal (MDT), which allows them to scan in paperwork instantly from their truck to the office, increasing overall communication and efficiency. The company also pairs up new drivers with experienced ones to provide guidance, tips, and to make them feel welcome.

“It gets harder every day for the owner-operator, so we’re trying to do the best we can to make it a stable environment,” Dye says. “We love taking input from them and changing what we do to make their jobs better.”
